Adelaide NDIS Psychologist

Prime Path Psychology provides professional NDIS counselling and NDIS psychological therapy to support adults and children in improving mental health, wellbeing, and daily functioning. Our team offers telehealth sessions across Australia, including Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, and regional areas, ensuring accessible and consistent care for NDIS participants.

We support Plan-Managed and Self-Managed NDIS participants (We are not an NDIA-managed provider).

Our NDIS team includes experienced psychologists and Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioners, including Sara Takini, NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner, who brings specialised expertise in autism, intellectual disability, ADHD, anxiety, trauma-related presentations, and complex behavioural challenges. She has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, families, and adults under the NDIS, delivering evidence-based therapy and positive behaviour support tailored to individual needs.

Our NDIS services include:

Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) & NDIS Reports

Understanding the “why” behind a behaviour is the first step toward meaningful support. Our team conducts comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) for both children and adults. We observe and analyze complex behaviours in the participant’s natural environment—whether at home, school, or in the community. The outcome is a detailed, evidence-based psychological assessment report for the NDIS, ensuring you have the exact clinical documentation required for plan reviews, funding approvals, and targeted interventions.

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Plans

Following a functional assessment, our NDIS registered psychologists and Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioners develop individualized Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans. These plans are designed to improve emotional regulation and overall quality of life while safely reducing restrictive practices. We don’t just write the plan; we provide hands-on parent coaching, family education, and school collaboration to empower the participant’s entire support network with practical, capacity-building strategies.

Tailored NDIS Counselling Services

Navigating life with autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, or complex trauma requires specialized, trauma-informed care. We offer dedicated NDIS counselling services focused on social skills development, life transitions, and managing co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. Whether you visit our Adelaide clinic face-to-face or utilize our secure telehealth services Australia-wide, our culturally responsive team—including bilingual support in English and Farsi (Persian)—tailors every session to the participant’s unique NDIS goals.

All NDIS therapy sessions are individualised to enhance coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, support recovery, and increase overall quality of life.
